The Salvation Army held its annual Christmas Kettle Campaign Volunteer Appreciation lunch on Feb. 23rd to honor those who volunteered their time.

The Salvation Army, like many non profit organizations, would not be possible without the time and dedication of volunteers. They showed their thanks by serving volunteers a Turkey meal and a raffle draw.

“I would just like to say to everyone in the community just a great, big, thank you for everything they do to support the Salvation Army. With their support we are able to provide the services that we do,” said the Majors Sergii & Tatiana Kachanova.

More than 15 volunteers received Appreciation Certificates. The Salvation Army plans to deliver the certificates to those who couldn’t make it due to weather conditions
