We have been going through a season of change here at the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army.  The last few years there have been some significant changes in staff, procedures and we have even moved our Administration Office to a new location, in a beautiful office on McCarter Street.

With all these disruptions to routine, the updates to our News and Events page have been pushed aside. We hope that with things settling down, we can keep you up to date on what is happening here at the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army.

While we have had changes to our staff, office and even some procedures, our mission, values and support have not waivered.  We are here to support those in need within our community.  In 2023 alone, thanks to the  dedication and support of donors and volunteers, the Soup Kitchen was able to provide 14,466 hot meals, through the Food Bank we provided 7,288 individual food hampers,  topping this off during the holiday season the Food Bank extend Christmas assistance to 829 individuals through hampers valued at $172,864, and through Community Services we offered critical assistance to 115 individuals for clothing and household needs, fuel vouchers or transportation, rent, and medical bills.  We are also extremely grateful to report that in 2023 our dedicated volunteers completed 24,371 recorded volunteer hours, with many of them going above and beyond and donating their time outside of their regular scheduled volunteer hours.

We are extremely grateful for the continued support of our local community, dedicated volunteers and generous donors.
