When you hear “The Salvation Army”, what comes to mind? A soup kitchen? Food Bank? Thrift Store? … a church? We often come across volunteers, neighbours and community partners who are surprised to learn about the various branches of our ministry work in the Oceanside area. Partnerships with individuals and organizations are key to effective cooperation and providing the most valuable assistance to those in need in our community. Our Volunteer Coordinator is available to come and speak to local service groups, churches, schools or businesses about our mission, the ministries we’re involved in, and the volunteering opportunities we offer. If you or someone you know would be interested in having us come to share a little more about what we do with your group, please contact our administration office to set up an engagement.
