At the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army we experience such generosity from our community year round. The holiday season is no exception and we are so grateful to those who continue to support our mission providing much needed help to those in need. Most recently we have be blessed with very generous donations awarded by a number of individuals and organizations.

Some of the major donations we have received recently:
The Residents of Craig Bay Community, totally just over $70,000 and 1289kg of food for the Food Bank.
Choices Market with a cheque of $999
The Parksville Rotary Club, provided the funds to purchase a new commercial stove for the Soup Kitchen, when our very old one stopped working.
St. Mark’s Church donated $1000 to our Food Bank
and of course our community and the hard working teams at Parksville Fire Department, Coombs Fire Department, Deep Bay Fire Department, Qualicum Beach Fire Department, Bow Horn Bay Fire Department, Errington Fire Department, Dashwood Fire Department, during the District 69 Fire Departments Fill the Boot campaign. With their efforts and community focus the District 69 Fill the Boot Campaign raised a collective $42,496 and 1299kgs of food for the Food Bank.
